Dr. Christopher Harnain is a double board-certified Interventional Radiologist and a founding member of Vantage Vascular. Boasting an elite academic background and extensive clinical experience, Dr. Harnain is devoted to advancing the field of image-guided, minimally invasive medicine. He is an expert in addressing complex musculoskeletal conditions, including frozen shoulder, using 'pinhole' techniques that emphasize patient safety and quick recovery. Clinical Expertise & Frozen Shoulder Management As the Chief of Interventional Radiology at Vantage, Dr. Harnain is a leading authority in managing frozen shoulder. He approaches this condition with an innovative perspective, offering sophisticated alternatives to traditional treatments. His clinical focus encompasses: Non-Surgical Joint Pain Relief: Utilizing high-precision techniques to address frozen shoulder by targeting the inflamed tissues, thereby alleviating symptoms like pain and limited movement. Complex Vascular Interventions: Expert in treating Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), Critical Limb Ischemia, and venous thromboembolism. Musculoskeletal & Men’s Health: Specialized in Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) for knee pain and treatments for enlarged prostate (PAE). Vascular Interpretation: As a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), he possesses the highest standard of expertise in reading and interpreting vascular ultrasound. Distinguished Education & Training Dr. Harnain’s medical and surgical education was completed at several of the nation's most prestigious institutions: Medical & Business Degrees: Earned both his MD and MBA from the University of Virginia, where he also received his undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Neuroscience. Surgical Internship: Completed at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Radiology Residency: Served as a resident at New York Medical College-Westchester Medical Center.
