Leadership & Background
Prior to co-founding North Star, Dr. Astani dedicated almost ten years in Chicago, holding various high-ranking administrative positions, including Chairman of the Department of Radiology at multiple hospitals. This background ignited his enthusiasm for developing a personalized, "built with heart" medical framework that minimizes hospital-acquired infection risks and emphasizes quick, same-day recovery.

Residency: Diagnostic Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital / Wayne State University.

Fellowship: Vascular and Interventional Radiology at William Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak, MI).

Board Certification: American Board of Radiology (Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology).
